To specify a tube rivet we require: - head type, outside diameter, wall thickness followed by length e.g. 3mm diameter with a 0.3 wall and a length under the head of 12mm would be B3 x 0.3 x 12 . To calculate the length please add to your piece part thickness, the dimension z (see the centre pages of this leaflet).
To specify an eyelet please also consider the most suitable diameter first then determine the under head length by adding 1-2 mm for diameters up to 3 mm and 2 – 3 mm for diameters up to 6 mm. The standard eyelet part numbers are shown in our comprehensive catalogue e.g. E307144 has a diameter of 3 mm, length 7.1 mm, head diameter of 4.4 mm and wall thickness of 0.3.
Also we need your required material and finish for both eyelets and tube rivets.
